AUTH is short for "Authorisation". When processing a payment, Trust Payments first contacts the acquiring and issuing banks to seek authorisation for the transaction. If authorisation has been granted, the payment enters a pending status until funds are settled into your bank account (this process is automatic and typically takes less than 24 hours for payments made using a credit/debit card).
