There are two ways in which a payment can be deferred until a later time.
- You can include a settleduedate in your request. Funds will be reserved on the customer’s account, but won’t leave their account until the date specified.
- You can suspend a transaction, by submitting settlestatus=2 in your request. Funds will be reserved on the customer’s account, but won’t leave their account until the transaction is updated to settlestatus=1.
