When troubleshooting problems with your device, it can sometimes be useful to learn about the hardware and software you're working with.
- Open your device settings by either swiping down from the top of the screen to access the quick settings panel or locating the settings app in your device app drawer.
- Scroll to "About phone" (sometimes this can be found under "System" or "About device").
You'll be presented with useful info e.g. the model name, Android version, build number, and storage.
- From the home screen or app library, open the "Settings" app.
- Scroll down and select "General".
- Select "About".
You'll be presented with useful info e.g. the model name, software version, serial number, and storage.
On the main screen, select "Supervisor".
Select "About This Device".
On this page, the following information is shown:
- Version - App version number
- Build- The app build number
- Serial - Hardware serial number
- IP - Internal IPv4 address
- Support contact email address and phone number
