When you receive an order from a customer via mail or telephone, follow the steps below to place an order and process a transaction in your Store Admin:
First-time setup for MOTO
If you haven't already done so, please follow the Getting started guide and enable your preferred Trust Payments integration method. This step must be completed before you enable MOTO as a feature.
Before you can start processing MOTO transactions, you will need to enable the feature in the WooCommerce Store Admin:
- Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings.
- Select the "Payments" tab at the top of the screen to view the different integration methods.
- Select "Manage" to the right of Pay by card (via HPP) to access Payment Pages settings.
- Select "Manage" to the right of Pay by card (via JS) to access JS Library settings.
- Scroll down and enable MOTO payment.
- Finally, select "Save changes" at the bottom of the page to enable MOTO.
Processing a MOTO transaction
- Go to WooCommerce > Orders, then select “Add order”.
- Under the heading Order details, enter the order, billing and delivery information into the fields provided. Use the icon to show the Billing and Shipping forms for data entry.

In the Billing form, select either "Pay by card (via HPP)" or "Pay by card (via JS)" as the Payment method, depending on your configuration.
- Scroll down and add one or more products to the order by selecting "Add item(s)" and then selecting the "Add product(s)" button that appears on the right.
- Use the "Search for a product...." drop-down to search for and select a product to add to the order. You can add multiple products if needed, with the option to specify the quantity for each by using the respective text fields on the right. Then select "Add".
- You are now ready to create the order. Scroll up and select "Create" in the top right.
- Once the order has been created, the button "Pay with MOTO (Trust Payments)" appears on the right side of the page. (If this button is not visible, check the First-time setup steps at the top of this article and ensure MOTO is enabled)

Select the "Pay with MOTO (Trust Payments)" button and you will be redirected to a form where you can enter the customer's card details. Select "Pay" to process the transaction.
- Once the transaction has been processed, you can return to the order and view useful information from Trust Payments about the processed transactions in the Trust Payments Transactions panel on the right:
- Transaction Reference — A unique reference for the transaction assigned by Trust Payments.
- Card Number — The card number used to process the transaction (masked for security reasons).
- Card Type — The payment type used to process the transaction (e.g. "VISA").
- Authcode — The authorisation code provided by the issuing bank.
- Card Issuer — The customer’s card issuer.
- Card Issuer Country — The country of the customer’s card issuer (in ISO2A format).
- CVV2 Response Code — The result of the security code checks.
