Main screen

The initial user display contains information about the current state of the terminal and allows you to run some basic operations.

Information about the date and time, connection type, signal strength and battery status is placed in the status bar at the top of the screen.

A green flashing icon top left indicates the readiness to accept contactless cards.

In the bottom of the screen there are virtual buttons to start the payment transaction, access the terminal’s setup menu or enter the Quick Menu.

Status bar description

The status bar contains all the important information in order to operate the payment terminal.

1 – Date – Present date in format dd:mm:yy
2 – Time – In format hh:mm:ss
3 – Wi-Fi – Wi-Fi signal strength
4 – Trust Payments server – Indication of Trust Payments server connection

 


 

Quick menu

The "Quick Menu" is the home of several key terminal functions. You can access this by tapping the "Quick Menu" icon from the Main screen, as shown below.

Quick menu item Description
RevLstTn This is used to reverse the most-recently perform transaction. This will cancel the transaction and ensure funds are made available to the customer.
Reprint

This is used to re-print the most-recently printed receipt.

  This will not re-print a shift totals printout.

Refund This is used to perform a refund.
Handshake This is used to test your connection to the Internet.

Admin This is used to access important administration settings for your device.
Network This is used to access network settings for your device.
Settings This is used to access user settings for your device.
Version This will display the version of the Operating System installed on your device.

  Some of these menu items require the device administrator password to access. If you have forgotten this password, please contact our Support Team for assistance.

 


 

Menu items

The terminal includes a number of functions required for correct terminal operation. To enter this list, use the virtual key “Menu” located in the middle at the bottom of the touch screen.

Selection of the required function is performed by touching the item on the display, scrolling is done by pressing the “Screen Up” and “Screen Down” and return to the previous menu by using the arrow “Back”.

The list of available functions depends on the specific terminal configuration and can differ from one application to another.

  In order to maintain your payment device security, the default Manager password must be changed in Menu> User Settings> Manager password
