You can test different outcomes for PayPal transactions by modifying the baseamount submitted in the initial ORDER request, on your test Site Reference.
Simply substitute the baseamount value with those in the table below to test the scenarios described.
Base amount | Scenario tested |
2011 | If there was an internal error at PayPal when submitting your request. (Decline response returned – error code “70000”) |
2002 | If the ORDER request was refused at PayPal. (Decline response returned – error code “70000”) |
2003 | A successful authorisation, however it will be cancelled later by PayPal, and this will be reflected on our system. |
2001 | A successful authorisation. |
