Network connection

The Castles Saturn 1000 terminal supports Wi-Fi and 4G connections. You must connect to at least one of these network types to operate the device.

 

Managing the Wi-Fi connection

 

Connecting to a Wi-Fi network
  1. From the main screen, tap "Settings".
  2. Enter the "Manager Passcode" and tap  
  3. Tap "System Settings" then "Network Settings".
  4. From the Network & internet page displayed, tap "Wi-Fi".
  5. Enable the "Use Wi-Fi" option if not already enabled.
  6. Select the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect to from the options displayed.
  7. Enter the password and tap "Connect".
  8. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the status bar along the top. If you have a data connection, you will see a   icon.
  9. You can tap the   icon in the bottom left to return to previous pages.
Disabling the Wi-Fi connection
  1. From the main screen, tap "Settings".
  2. Enter the "Manager Passcode" and tap  
  3. Tap "System Settings" then "Network Settings".
  4. From the Network & internet page displayed, tap "Wi-Fi".
  5. Disable the "Use Wi-Fi" option.
  6. You can tap the   icon in the bottom left to return to previous pages.

  Once you have set up a connection to Wi-Fi, your device will always favour a Wi-Fi network over a 4G connection if both are available.

Installing SIM card(s)

SIM settings
  1. From the main screen, tap "Settings".
  2. Enter the "Manager Passcode" and tap  
  3. Tap "System Settings" then "Network Settings".
  4. From the Network & internet page displayed, tap "SIMs".
  5. From here you can enable/disable data connections and roaming on each SIM.
  6. You can tap the   icon in the bottom left to return to previous pages.
Additional configuration for Mobius SIMs
  1. Follow the steps above to reach the Network & internet page.
  2. Tap "Mobile Network", then "Advanced".
  3. Scroll down and tap "Access Point Names".
  4. Tap + to add a new access point.
  5. Enter the following details into the form shown:

    Tap    at the top of the page to return to the APNs page.

  6. From the APNs page, ensure "Mobius" is selected.
  7. Tap    at the top of the page to return to the Network & internet page. If the SIM has been configured successfully, your mobile network will now be displayed.
