The Castles Saturn 1000 contains a Li-ion battery and can be operated without being permanently connected to power. If the battery level is low, it must be connected to power and recharged.
Charging your device
You can charge your device by using any of the following methods:
Connect directly to power supply
Connect the enclosed power cable to the left side of the device.
Charge via USB-C port
The terminal can also be charged using a standard USB-C cable that supports Power Delivery (not included).
Using Charging Cradle/Base
To simplify the charging process, you can charge the terminal by placing it in the charging cradle. Simply insert the included power cable into the base of the cradle and it will be ready to charge your device.
Turning device on/off
| Turn on | Press and hold the power button on the left side of the device until the display turns on. |
| Restart | Press the power button on the left side of the device and select "Restart" from the menu displayed. |
| Turn off | Press the power button on the left side of the device and select "Power off" from the menu displayed. |
Replacing the battery
- Power the terminal off by pressing the power button on the left side of the device selecting "Power off" from the menu displayed.
- Remove the rear cover of the terminal by gently squeezing the top left and right corners of the cover and sliding it downward.
- Remove the existing battery by lifting the clip on the left.
- Install the new battery by lining up the pins on the right of the battery and then pushing it into place.
- Re-attach the rear cover by sliding it upward and clicking it into place.
- Power on the device by pressing and holding the power button on the left side of the device until the display turns on.
