Follow these instructions to complete a sale using the POS terminal with DCC:
Before processing a transaction with DCC for the first time, you must check your settings to ensure the terminal prints the customer receipt. To do so:
- Select Menu icon onscreen.
- Scroll down and select User Settings.
- Scroll down and select Customer receipt.
- From the options presented, select "Option 3 - Always print".

Tap the Quick Pay icon on screen.

Enter the amount and tap the icon on screen.
If enabled, the customer will be asked to enter a tip amount and tap to continue.Press thebutton on the keypad to abort the transaction at any time.

When prompted, insert the card OR tap for contactless OR swipe the magnetic stripe. The customer will be prompted to enter their PIN to continue.

If the customer's card supports DCC, currency conversion will be performed and the customer will be presented with a choice of two currencies for completing the transaction: Your local currency or the customer's local currency as determined by the country the card with issued.
To ensure the customer is fully informed, the following information is displayed on the device when the customer is making their choice:
- Amounts in both your local currency and the customer's local currency.
- The conversion rate used to calculate the amount in the customer's local currency.
- The percentage mark-up applied to the amount in the customer's local currency to facilitate the service.

Once the customer selects the currency for the transaction, the payment is processed. If successful, a confirmation message is displayed on screen and two receipts are printed:
- The first receipt is for your records. You can keep this one. Tap "OK" on screen when ready to print the next receipt.
- The second receipt printed is given to the customer.
If the customer chose to pay in their local currency via the DCC service, this is clearly stated on the receipt.You must ask the customer if they would like to take their copy of the receipt.
If the customer receipt does not print, you may need to check your receipt configuration.
