The "Loyalty Analysis" page shows the loyalty of visitors to your hotels, by directly comparing the amount they spend at your hotels with the amount spent at competing hotels. These charts are constructed by analysing the purchasing behaviour of your visitors over the past year, as determined by the PAN and expiry date of cards used.
Visitor Breakdown by Hotel
Trust Payments analyses anonymised data of customer spending patterns across the sector and uses this to compare the number of transactions and total amount spent at hotels in your chain with comparable data on record for competing hotels.
Number of Visitors who only Visited Given Hotel vs those who also Visited Other Hotels
On the left, a bar chart shows the total number of unique visitors to each of your hotels in the past year. For each hotel, the total number of visitors is split into two categories, shown in dark blue and light blue:
- The lighter blue category shows the proportion of visitors who only visited the given hotel in your chain.
- The darker blue category shows the proportion of visitors who visited the given hotel in your chain and at least one competitor.
Average Spend of Visitors at Given Hotel vs Other Hotels
On the right, a bar chart shows the average amount spent by guests at each of your hotels in the past year. For each hotel, there are two columns shown:
- The lighter blue column shows the average amount spent by visitors who only visited the given hotel in your chain.
- The lighter blue category shows the average amount spent by visitors who visited the given hotel in your chain and at least one competitor.
Analysis of x Visitors who Visited Other Hotels
Trust Payments analyses anonymised data of customer spending patterns across the sector and uses this to show the UK regions in which customers are staying when visiting competing hotels.

On the right, a map of the UK is shown that is divided into regions. Each region is colour-coded by the average transaction amount spent at competing hotels, with regions where customers are spending more shown in shades of green and regions where customers are spending less shown in shades of red.
