File Manager

  Last updated:

Unfortunately, the product documented here is currently only available in English.

This feature is available to merchants using our TRU Connect gateway.

The File Manager allows you to upload files to your site reference(s). These are used to customise the appearance of your Payment Pages or notification emails sent from Portal.

  How to access

Expand the "Account" grouping in the side-bar and select "File Manager".

The File Manager

The File Manager page allows you to upload files to your site reference(s). We use these files to customise the appearance and behaviour of your Payment Pages and emails sent on your behalf.

From this page, you can upload files, view and download existing files, and delete files as needed.

Selecting a site reference

Start by selecting the site reference from the drop-down at the top of the page. When selecting the site reference, please note the following:

  • Files uploaded via the File Manager are only applied to the site reference selected at the top of the page. If you need to apply custom files to multiple site references, you must select each site reference in turn and upload the files.
  • We recommend uploading files to a test site reference first, to ensure your hosted Payment Pages look and behave as expected. Once satisfied, you can re-upload the same files to your live site reference.
  • For files to be used on your customised hosted Payment Pages, the HTTPS POST to Trust Payments must specify a site reference where the file(s) are hosted.

Uploading a file

  1. Select the upload panel to browse and upload files from your device, or drag and drop files directly from your device into the browser window.
  2. The upload and file verification are completed automatically.
  3. Provided that no errors occurred with the upload and all file requirements were met (see below), select "Submit Upload" to complete the upload process.

Uploaded files may take a few minutes to propagate across all servers — your checkout will not reflect any changes until this is complete.

  File requirements

  • The upload limit for each site reference is 5MB total or 200 files, whichever is reached first.
  • The maximum size of a file is 1024 KB.
  • Files uploaded will replace existing files with the same names.
  • Only the following file extensions may be uploaded:
css, email, eot, gif, html, jpeg, jpg, js, png, svg, ttf, woff, woff2
  • Filenames must only contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores.
  • Filenames must not contain spaces or other punctuation.
  • File extensions must be in all lowercase (".png" rather than ".PNG").
  • When uploading text files (e.g. css, js), these must be encoded in UTF-8 or ASCII.
  • Files cannot be empty.

Managing uploaded files

If files have already been uploaded to the selected site reference, these will be displayed in a table below the upload panel.

Deleting files

  1. Tick the checkbox to the left of the filename(s) you intend to delete.
  2. Once you have completed your selection, select the    icon on the right, above the table, and from the menu select “Delete”.
  Deleted files cannot be recovered.

It may take a few minutes for a file to be deleted. Therefore, your changes may not be immediately reflected in the File Manager.

Downloading files

  1. Tick the checkbox to the left of the filename(s) you intend to download.
  2. Once you have completed your selection, select the    icon on the right, above the table, and from the menu select “Download”.
The file(s) will be downloaded as a zip file. You can edit and re-upload them later as needed.
