The Ingenico Desk 5000 does not contain a battery and must be connected to a power supply using the enclosed cable at all times to function.
Turning device on/off
| Turn on | The terminal will turn on automatically within 30 seconds of being connected to a power supply. |
| Restart | To restart the terminal, press the button on the keypad, and then select "Restart". |
| Turn off | To turn the terminal off, simply unplug the device from the power supply. |
