Using the keypad

The keypad is an alternative way to navigate through the terminal without needing to use the touch screen. It is also used for entering PINs, SSIDs, passwords, and other alphanumeric data. The main function keys are explained below.

  How to enter alphanumeric input using keypad

There are times when you may be required to enter alphanumeric input, e.g. when entering a Wi-Fi password. This is done using the keypad on your device. Each numbered button on the keypad is assigned different letters, which can be cycled through by pressing a button multiple times, as shown below:
