This article explains how to enable/disable the tip/gratuity function:
Follow the appropriate instructions below for your terminal:
Castles VEGA and Ingenico devices
- Select Menu icon onscreen
- Scroll down and select User Settings
- Scroll down and select Tip Entry
- Select On/Off
Castles Saturn 1000
When enabled, you are prompted to enter the tip amount after entering the transaction amount on every sale.
- If entering a tip, type the amount using the on-screen keyboard and tap to continue.
- If declining a tip, simply tap without entering a tip to continue.
- To clear the entered tip, tap . You can then enter a new tip amount if needed.
- To cancel and return to the previous screen, tap
The customer can now present their card and complete the sale.
